Ion Flux is a leader and innovator in the clinical genomics space.  We have an opportunity open to build state-of-the-art applications in the clinical/biotech/informatics space from the ground up.

We want to hire a talented QA Engineer to design and implement tests and documentation for our complex data analysis and reporting systems. You will work in a fun and creative environment with a talented group of individuals that have a passion for building great products on cutting edge technology.

Qualifications

• You are impeccably thorough and detail oriented.
• You understand and have implemented best practices for integrating and testing complex distributed systems.
• You understand and have implemented best practices for both black box and white box testing.
• You have a high level of written English fluency, and experience writing technical documentation.
• You have a portfolio of previously written technical documentation.

Duties

• Define, develop, and implement all aspects of quality assurance, testing, and documentation procedures and practices.
• Develop automated testing and documentation systems using proprietary data and commercial and custom libraries.
• Ensure all operations and development adheres to quality assurance procedures, and are tracked through source code versioning and issue tracking systems.
• Work closely with development team to ensure QA procedures are fully integrated into development process
• Work closely with product team to ensure business-critical features are tracked and tested.
